* Our guest speaker was John Metzer of Ariel Ministries. Ariel Ministries specializes in presenting "Bible Teaching from a Messianic Jewish Perspective." SUNDAY SCHOOL - Christ in the Old Testament * In this message, John presented some of the overwhelming evidence of the tri-unity of God in the Old Testament and that Jesus the Messiah was the incarnate presence of YHWH. * The presentation culminates with the direct statements of YHWH through Isaiah and Zechariah. Through Isaiah YHWH declares that Adonai YHWH and His Spirit were sending Him, and that Adonai YHWH would be giving Him the tongue of the learned and opening His ear. Then through Isaiah and Zechariah, YHWH declares that He would be given as sacrifice for their sins, and that they would one day recognize it. WORSHIP SERVICE - Feasts of Israel * In this message, John gave a quick overview of the seven feasts of Israel. * These feasts point toward the "Messianic Career" of Jesus. There are four spring feasts and three fall feasts; each them have a prophetical application. The gap between the spring feasts and the fall feasts comprises our current dispensation. The spring feasts end with the initiation of the church and the fall feasts begin with the taking away of the church.
