* 2 weeks ago we began looking at the book of Joshua considering the name, call and preparation of the title character. * Last week, we considered God's challenge to Joshua: "Be strong and of good courage!" * Today, we consider Joshua's initial action in the preparation for the campaign to take the land. He begins in the same place that the initial entry to the land had failed - spies! * Note that Joshua only sends to select men, rathering than sending in a representative from each tribe. Joshua learned from past failures! * It is what these two spies find in Jericho that we want to examine today ... the faith of Rahab!
