* Jesus' Messianic ministry is now officially public. He has withstood the temptations of Satan in the wilderness. He has been baptized, and identified, by His forerunner - John the Baptist. He has proclaimed His Messianic purpose in the synagogue of His home town of Nazareth. And, He has revealed His authority over demons, sicknesses and diseases. * The next step in this ministry is to begin making disciples. As we saw last week, that is His commission to us who follow Him - to make disciples. That commission to us comes as a result of His leading by example. * This call for individuals to follow Him generally follows a progression of four phases which will we examine through His call of Simon Peter.
