Majesty is defined as stately splendor or royal dignity. Meekness is having power with constraint and gentleness. Both at His birth and death, the majestic meekness of Christ was revealed. God, the ultimate Majesty, emptied Himself and took the form of a servant. At His birth, He was proclaimed by both celestial angels and terrestial shepherds. At His death, the Judge of the earth stood before an earthly judge who sensed the divine presence in front of him. Believers are called to be conformed to the image of Christ and to have the mind of Christ. Hence, we also are to display this majestic meekness in our lives. We are called the heralds of God, the ambassadors of God and the children of God! As well though, we are accounted as servants of God and as sheep for the slaughter.
