Thankful people will exude thankfulness in their lives. Primarily your thankfulness to God will be exhibit in your speech and in your generosity. The believers of Macedonia gave liberally, out of their poverty, because they had first given themselves to the Lord. This occurred as a result of their thankfulness to God for what He had done for them. How thankful are you for His gift of salvation? How thankful are you for His provision and protection? As a nation, we have a lot for which to be thankful. But what part will recounting God's wondrous works play in your Thanksgiving festivities this week? "Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy."
