* In our study of the book of Hebrews, we have transitioned from the primarily doctrinal section - looking to the perfect sacrifice - into the primarily applicational section and considering the results of that perfect sacrifice. * We have spent four weeks considering the "Evidence of Faith" which is ultimately the result of the focus of one's Confidence, or Hope. * Today, we begin to look at how this Faith and Hope affect our "Mindset" regarding our journey through this life. In this chapter, various analogies are woven together to reveal the importance of our desire for, and commitment to, practical sanctification as a result of our positional sanctification. * Because of Christ's perfect sacrifice, our pursuit in life should mirror Paul's declaration in Philippians - that I may know Christ ...
