Over the past seven weeks we have been considering a system of interpretation referred to as Dispensationalism. Dispensationalism is distinguished by it's four primary distinctives: the use of a literal interpretation, the recognition of God's use of progressive revelation in communicating to man; the glory of God as the unifying purpose of the Bible, and a clear distinction between the church and the nation of Israel. * Over the past 3 weeks we have been examining the 7 most commonly accepted Biblical dispensations. During each of the periods of time that we have covered, we have seen that there is a beginning event, a responsibility/test for man, a failure of man toward that responsibility, and a final event. * Today, we come to the final "classical" dispensation - the Stewardship of the Kingdom. However, prior to that we must consider what is commonly referred to as "the Tribulation Period."
