* Focusing on the Messiah in the book of Matthew. * Matthew was a Jewish man writing about the Jewish Messiah to a Jewish audience. As we study his account of the life and ministry of Jesus (Y'shua) we need to keep looking at from that context. * Last week we considered the Forerunner of the Messiah, John the Immerser (Baptist), and his preparatory message - Repent, for the Kingdom of the heavens is at hand. * Today, we pick up the narrative with the arrival of Jesus to begin the inauguration of His Messianic ministry through His baptism and time of temptation.
