2 Kings 15:32 - 16:20 Jotham and Ahaz Last week, we considered King Uzziah who was one of the greatest of the kings of Judah. Uzziah "sought God ... and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him prosper." He expanded the territory of Judah and the technology of warfare. Yet, "when he was strong his heart was lifted up, to his destruction ..." Today, we consider the next two generations after Uzziah. Jotham and Ahaz both reigned 16 years, but the difference between their leadership was pretty significant! In the span of 32 years we see the decay of the morality of a nation.
