* Paul has presented 1) the universal sinfulness and condemnation of man; 2) God's provision of deliverance from that condemnation through faith in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ - His death, burial and resurrection; 3) The union with Christ in His is death and life for those who believe and 4) the effects of that union with Christ * Last week, we considered God's great love for us that is expressed in the greatest effect of our union with Christ - our adoption by God. Those who believe in Christ are "children of God" and "joint-heirs with Christ!" * Today, we continue that theme in our transition to Paul's next major topic ... the effect of the revelation of salvation by faith upon the nation of Israel.
